David Carvalho is a full-time club and private DJ, ½ of electronic music production duo WhiteNoize, and co-owner of Boutique DJs and Entertainment. Growing up in the San Francisco Bay Area, David has been influenced by almost every music genre there is and it shows in his ability to play to any crowd. He specializes in Pop, Classics, Hip-Hop, EDM, and more and has been playing to a wide rage of audiences for many years. Clubs, Corporate Events, Festivals, Weddings, and Private DJ for many affluent clients….David has played at them all.

Playing over 100+ clubs and 1000+ events around the world has given David Carvalho the opportunity to see the globe and gather many types of music. Over the last 10 years, he has played in some of the hottest clubs and venues and has been able to work with incredible clients such as Christina Aguilera, George Lucas, San Francisco Giants, Scion, Golden State Warriors, Genentech, Google, Apple, and Virgin just to name a few.

  • As current Chairman of one of San Francisco's oldest non-profit organizations, reputation is very important. For the past 7 years I've personally hired or have been involved in the hiring of David Carvalho for an event we host in Union Square, which has an attendance of approximately 400 people (ages 22-40+). The event has been a huge success for 17 years and our organization trusts nobody to do a better job than David. He knows exactly how to read the crowd, play the right music at the right time, and most importantly when to turn things up when the time is right!

    As having been involved with much event planning, supervising your vendors can be a big pain and a huge time drain, which of course detracts from the fun you have. David needs no supervision and handles himself with the utmost professionalism. When David's on the job, it is very clear that he has his host's best interests in mind and will work with them in any way to make the event a big success.

    I have not bothered to read these other reviews below- but I can tell you that with 7 years of experience working with David, he is by far your best choice, hands down. My organization will be working with David for many-many more years to come-

  • I've worked with David for a few years now and every single project that we have hired him to perform at an AT&T Park for a Giants home game, has been a very enjoyable experience for us and our fans.

    We never have any issues, concerns, doubts as we know our entertainment is in great hands with Dave on the decks. He understands his audience and makes it a point every time to do all that he can in ensuring a pleasant experience for everyone involved.

  • Truly, as good as it gets! Book him today! It has been two years since our wedding and we STILL have people talking about our kick-ass DJ; thank you David!! You were professional and polite with all my OCD emails and requests (no traditional wedding songs to pull down the vibe [check!], a looong list of eclectic must-haves [not a problem!]).

    My one dream for our wedding was to have a fully packed, joyous dance floor at the end of the night and we did. Our friends video recorded the last song and it still brings shivers up my spine to see all the happy, jumping crazies that stayed until the very end to surround my (then) new husband and I... awesomeness.

He is on time, ready to go, happy, positive and understands the corporate event culture perfectly.   • Book David ASAP!!!! There is only one David Carvalho, and once you hear his music and the way he DJ's you will never want to use anyone else!!

    David handled our wedding ceremony, the hora and reception, and did not have one person sitting down the entire night!! He kept the music high energy and fun all night. Our one requirement was we did not want any of the traditional "top 100 wedding songs" you hear at every wedding, and boy did David exceed all of our expectations! He MC'd the entire night as well, transitioning everyone throughout the different rooms from dinner, speeches to dancing seamlessly.

    Working with David was an absolute dream - He's incredibly professional, responsive, timely and by far the best DJ in the world!! He DJ's at clubs, events and weddings all over the globe and we feel lucky to have had him be a part of ours.

  • David was the DJ for our August 3 wedding and he was better than we could have imagined. My husband said he "played a great mix of old school and new music" and best of all he kept our crowd dancing all night long! We were on the dance floor most of the night and when we weren't there was always a huge group of our friends and family out there enjoying themselves. He was also very punctual (arrived at the exact time stated in the contract and was very responsive to emails-which as all brides and grooms know is one of the most important things vendors can do to keep their experience positive) and he emceed the reception to perfection. Our friends commented on two things about our wedding: how great our food was and how amazing our DJ and music was! We didn't want the night to end; we will be forever grateful that David was a part of our day!!! -Mele R.

    David was punctual, polite, and played preferred music all night. There wasn't a single song folks didn't seem to like. Once it was his turn to run the reception, I never heard the music stop. Music everybody knew, woven together seamlessly, pulled even those who don't dance out of their shell. David had young and old dancing for hours. Nobody wanted to quit, few left the dance floor.

  • Listen up brides and grooms to be... Book David as soon as you can!!! If you want your guests to dance their butts off, there is no better DJ to make this happen.

    If I could give David 10 stars I absolutely would. When looking for DJ's for my October wedding, I found the experience to be slightly challenging as the wedding entertainment market is flooded with vendors claiming to be excellent. While they might be, my husband and I had a few qualifications:
    1.) No douchebaggery from the DJ meaning no cheese, no weird music, and no chicken dance.
    2.) FUN! We wanted good music that flowed. A few old school jams, some rap, some hip hop, some house. Basically appeal to all ages.
    3.) Good energy and professionalism from our DJ.

    David exceeded our qualifications and could not have done a better job. Not only is he one of the nicest people I have met in a very long time, but he was excited to be at our event. He showed up on time and set up right away. He spun all night and my only regret was not having him start earlier. Love this guy and he is worth every penny and more.

  • We had David for our wedding and he did such a great job that people, young and old didn't stop dancing whole night until 2am! he kept the energy high and everybody was having a blast with his ingenuous mash-ups.
    he had few phone meetings and he was very professional and even though we gave him very little guidelines ("make it fun") he hit a home run on the music selection.
    we also saw him at several major clubs in the city where he was headlining and he is AMAZING! every time was different music but every time was a blast! -Ivan S.
  • David was the DJ for our wedding and was absolutely amazing! Extremely professional in every email, phone and in-person meeting, he was hands down one of the best vendors we dealt with during our entire wedding process.

    We had a few special requests for the types of music, and David was great about working with us and helping guide us as we threw the final pieces of the wedding puzzle together. From the background music during the guest arrival to the "last dance" he was just awesome and helped us have an epic wedding. And judging from the amount of people on the dance floor the entire night, I would say that our guests loved his work as well. I think the only regret people had is that Sonoma County shuts down the dancing at 11 PM, otherwise we would probably still be on the dance floor.
